All BASK suits are 100% cotton, and can be machine washed on the cold or delicate setting. We recommend you hang dry, though if you want a little bit of shrinkage, you can put them in the dryer on low.

All fabrics are direct-sourced from India and Japan. We’re currently building relationships with weavers in Jaipur known for their fine cotton IKATs. All Japanese fabrics come from Morikiku, the single weaver of the ‘Arrow Dobby’ fabric used in BASK suits.

BASK suits are sewn by hand in Ojai, CA by our seamstress, Maria J. Maria is intrinsic to this operation, and we absolutely couldn’t do it without her. She has been a part of BASK from its earliest iteration, through many pattern refinements, through to today. She set her wage, and is regarded as a core member of our team.
